Comment: Like the earlier reviewer said, great price for luxury 400 thread count sheets -- too great a price I guess. Our fitted sheet pilled too. Very uncomfortable -- feels like there is sand in the bed!

Comment: I bought these sheets first because of the incredible deal. I got them 2 days ago and slept on it last night, and boy, did I have a good sleep. It's soft, a bit silky even, and just wonderful. I don't think I have slept so well for a really long time.

Summary: Unbelievable value

Comment: I have to disagree with the last person's comments. I have 2 sets of the Wamsutta 400 Thread Count sheets and love them. I bought the first set for myself at full retail from Amazon.com. Fell in love with the quality and durability. When I saw the great value Amazon.com was running them at this month I had to spoil my whole family. Now every bed in our house has them. If you are not familiar with the differences in thread count I can understand her confusion. They do vary and you need to make sure you purchase the weave you like. The 400 has a uncommonly high number of threads per inch, combined with the extra-long pima cotton fibers, produces a sheet that's likely to be softer and more sumptuous than any bedding you've experienced. I prefer the weight it allows me to keep my year round PFC down on my bed. The 300 threads per square inch have a square sateen weave that exposes more soft cotton to the touch. It has a light delicate texture. Either way this is an unbelievable value!

Comment: I purchased these sheets after having owned a set of Wamsutta sheets previously and being extremely pleased with their performance. However, these sheets(with a much higer thread count than my previous Wamsutta sheets) have pilled all over the fitted sheet, making it feel bumpy and uncomfortable, all within 3 weeks of purchase. My recomendation is to go to another brand, even though the price is good on this high of a thread count,I guess there is a reason the price is low. Poor quality. I am really dissapointed, I trusted the Wamsutta name.
