Summary: horse is a good product
Date: 2006-11-10 - 3

Comment: It's a really neat riding toy. It was definently overpriced for what you get though. Just because it was just discontinued they are overpricing it on amazon, ebay, etc... I would say you can get another riding toy just as good for half the price at wal-mart. Nothing special to this horse, but it is nice looking, and has neat music that plays when the child rocks on it. It's well made, sturdy, and easy to put together. Overall it's a good product.

Summary: Lots of fun for a toddler!

Comment: I bought this for my son last Christmas (he was 11 months old at the time). Everyone is correct - the stickers do not "match up" to the contour of the horse. We managed anyway with the ripped, wrinkled and pieced together stickers.

My son thought the toy was okay at first. Once he was about 15 months old he LOVED it. He still plays with it and loves the sounds it makes.

Summary: Dangerous Musical Rocking Pony
Date: 2006-08-03 - 1

Comment: My niece, 2 years old, loves her musical rocking pony. However, she is able to turn the horse on its side with little difficulty. If she is rocking and gets excited by the motion, the horse will tip forward, which has almost caused her to fall in the past. Even with adult supervision this rocking horse is a danger to young ones. Of course, a two year old will not understand the concern regarding her rocking pony, but it is a danger to fun loving, excitable children.

Summary: Makes a Great First Rocking Horse!

Comment: My daughter recieved this for her first birthday and she loved it from the second she saw it. She liked that she could rock hard enough to scoot across the floor. I didnt have a problem with the stickers at all, just take a few minutes and line them up. She's 2 1/2 now and unfortunately she has outgrown it, but she doesnt agree with me about that and will still ride it! Santa better hurry up and bring her a big girl horse.

Summary: Dangerous Toy
Date: 2005-10-25 - 1

Comment: This toy seemed like a great deal for the money--the least expensive rocking horse out there. There's a reason it's so inexpensive--it's cheap!!! There are stickers which must be manually applied. They're not that easy to line up and they are easily removed by a child, posing a choking hazard. In addition, on more than one occasion, my son turned the horse upside down and attempted to mount it from the wrong angle. The rungs on the bottom are spaced just closely enough together for a child to get a leg caught between. They hold his leg very securely and he almost severely injured himself twice since he was unable to get his leg out on his own and twisted it badly. It also left a large, red mark on his leg after we got him out. He literally was unable to get out himself. A toy made for such a small child should not have stickers that can be removed but, rather, molded, colored plastic. I called Fisher Price about this toy and have asked them to seriously consider putting a recall on it. It is very dangerous and we have since thrown ours away!!!
